FC Barcelona‘s path to the treble seems smoother after beating Atlético Madrid and reaching the Copa del Rey final. But the treble also involves winning La Liga, so they have to get down to work for the visit of a fit Real Betis, who they need to beat to maintain their lead at the top of the table.

To reach the cup final, Barça played an intense match at the Metropolitano against Atlético Madrid. The Azulgranas had a good first half in which Lamine Yamal gifted a goal to Ferran Torres which, in the end, and after a tough second half, would be enough to qualify.

In the league, FC Barcelona has just played two matches at home in the space of three days. Barça has gone 21 matches unbeaten in 2025, with 18 wins. The last two league matches were last Thursday against Osasuna and on Sunday against Girona, both times deploying their great offensive power.

As for Real Betis, they are on a record run: six victories in the last six league games, meaning they are about to break their record for consecutive wins. Their good run has put them in a European position and they dream of playing in the Champions League next season.

Hansi Flick and accumulated fatigue

Hansi Flick’s men arrive with a lot of minutes in their legs after having played 3 games in just 7 days. One of those injured after the match against Atlético de Madrid at the Metropolitano was Pau Cubarsi, who left the field in the 58th minute because he felt some muscle discomfort. Iñigo Martínez suffered slight discomfort in the hamstring area and Raphinha ended up exhausted after playing the full 90 minutes. Likewise, Gavi, despite not playing, felt some discomfort in his right knee during the warm-up.

Possible Barça XI

Goalkeeper: Szczesny

Defenders: Koundé, Araujo, Èric, Balde

Midfielders: Fermín, De Jong, Pedri

Forwards: Lamine Yamal, Lewandowski, Ferran Torres

Pellegrini, with important absences

Pellegrini will be without Marc Roca due to a right foot injury sustained during the league match against Real Sociedad. Isco will also be out through suspension. There are also doubts over Ez Abde.

Possible Real Betis XI

Goalkeeper: Adrián

Defenders: Sabaly, Bartra, Diego Llorente, Ricardo Rodríguez

Midfielders: Cardoso, Fornals, Lo Celso

Forwards: Antony, Cucho, Jesús Rodríguez
