This is everything Aston Martin has changed to return to competing with the best

The official account of X of Real Madrid has published a video in which Pintus is seen supervising the physical preparation of the footballers a few hours before the decisive match against Arsenal in the Champions League. These images are surprising, as the physical trainer had been in charge of other aspects since November and had been separated from the preparation of the players.

Disagreements with Pintus at Real Madrid

Real Madrid has accumulated a plethora of injuries in recent years and Pintus has been one of those singled out for the way he prepares the players. Real Madrid’s fitness coach has never been part of Carlo Ancelotti‘s technical staff, he is an employee contracted directly by the club. And after several arguments at the start of the season, the Real Madrid coach decided to remove him from his duties in the physical preparation of the team.

Pintus returns to the team

We don’t know the reasons, but the official Real Madrid X account has published a video where the physical trainer can be seen supervising the exercises of the footballers a few hours before the decisive match of Real Madrid against Arsenal, where the whites will have to look for the impossible comeback after losing a week ago at the Emirates by 3 goals to zero against Arteta’s team.

In the video you can see some members of the squad training in the gym at Valdebebas under Pintus, proof that the coach once again has Carlo Ancelotti’s trust to get the players in shape for the final stretch of a season that seems to be very complicated for the Whites.

Injuries at Real Madrid

Real Madrid have accumulated a number of injuries in the last two seasons. While the most serious injuries, those to Militao‘s ligaments twice, Courtois, Alaba and Carvajal, have nothing to do with physical preparation, muscle injuries could be related to poor physical preparation.

In this sense, the list of players who have been to the infirmary is very long. Courtois, Rudiger, Lucas Vázquez, Fran García, Alaba, Medy, Valverde, Camavinga, Tchouameni, Ceballos, Vinicius, Bellingham, Rorygo, Vinicius, Mbappe, Brahim, Güler and Vallejo have been out at some point during the season with muscle problems. Practically the whole squad has suffered problems in the last two seasons, which would have caused the discontent of Ancelotti and his coaching staff.

Injuries for Arsenal

Perhaps this is the best moment in the last two years for Real Madrid in terms of the list of players in the infirmary. Only Mendy is injured, although Alaba also has problems in this regard. But players like Dani Ceballos, who is now returning after two months out, or Rudiger, who has been playing with a bulky bandage on his leg for several matches, continue to raise doubts about the team’s preparation.

In addition to the absence of Mendy against Arsenal, and the already known absences of Carvajal and Militao, Camavinga will also be out of the squad, but this is due to an accumulation of cards, nothing to do with physical problems.

Therefore, despite having been in the firing line over the physical preparation of the Real Madrid players, it seems that Pintus is once again in charge of the players’ training. We do not know what his degree of responsibility is at the moment, but everything indicates that the veto suffered by Ancelotti and his technical staff has come to an end.

Real Madrid have a lot at stake in this final stretch of the season, starting this Wednesday. They must come back in the Champions League and then in La Liga, any setback could end the team’s chances, and that could have major consequences for a club that is obliged to win a title every season. And this year they might come up empty-handed.
