Kylian Mbappé has the opportunity to experience his first magical night at the Santiago Bernabéu for the first time and he intends to be one of the stars of the evening. The French boy who dreamed of playing for Real Madrid on the big nights of the Champions League now has the opportunity to fulfil one of the many dreams he wants to fulfil in white, and he is more motivated than ever to show that he has come to the white team to make history.

Mbappé to confirm himself with Real Madrid

Kylian Mbappé‘s first year has fallen short of the expectations that, as is logical, were sky-high from the moment of his arrival. Although the French player has already scored 32 goals for the Whites, a very high figure, he has not yet been able to take off in all his splendour.

Madrid fans are impatiently waiting for Mbappé to show the face we have seen in recent years with PSG and with France, that of a lethal and unstoppable player, capable of scoring all kinds of goals, in any circumstances and against any opponent. And there is no better night than tonight for him to spread his wings and fly around the Bernabéu.

The footballer is coming off the back of a strange weekend for him, in which he lost his temper during the league match against Alavés and was sent off with a straight red card for a very hard and ugly tackle on Antonio Blanco (it is surprising that he only received a one-match ban). On the other hand, he has again gone several matches without scoring, not since the match against Leganés, where he scored a brace. In the first leg against Arsenal he had two chances to score, one of them a clear chance that could have changed the course of the tie. It’s time to turn the situation around.

Mbappé faces his first magical night

Kylian Mbappé has always acknowledged his love of Real Madrid since he was a child. It all started with Zidane: admired by Kylian from a young age, who saw him play alongside the galácticos and that’s when he knew he wanted to play at the Santiago Bernabéu. As he said in an interview a few weeks ago, first it was a dream, then a goal, and now a reality. His desire was to play for this team so he could experience nights like tonight’s against Arsenal, and here he is. It’s the perfect opportunity for him to start writing the first pages of his story as a Real Madrid player.

Mbappé’s numbers in this Champions League are cause for hope. He scores a goal every two games, and considering that he didn’t score in the first leg, his chances of scoring are very high. Furthermore, the footballer has been able to pull PSG through in past editions, being decisive in many eliminations not with one or two goals, but with more than one hat-trick (he already did it to Manchester City or in the World Cup final with France against Argentina, although they lost on penalties). He is a player who responds on big nights and Madrid fans hope that tonight he will have his first big performance in a Real Madrid shirt. He needs to show up and he needs to be at maximum motivation to achieve it.

Kylian Mbappé has before him the first great night as a Real Madrid player, and has the opportunity to start writing the first lines in the history of a club that has experienced great feats like the one he has to star in today. It is a unique opportunity and he is willing to put the team on his shoulders to see one of his first childhood dreams come true.
