Real Madrid Lineup vs. Mallorca in LaLiga: Ancelotti’s Selection Puzzle

Real Madrid has already made an offer for Huijsen

Real Madrid is already setting its sights on its next goal, the Club World Cup, and everything points to four new signings for an event in which the Whites are determined to emerge victorious. At the Santiago Bernabéu offices, they are aware that the season, including this final stretch, has been affected by injuries, especially in defense, so they will look to strengthen these positions to face the tournament with confidence.

Four reinforcements for the Club World Cup

As announced by Josep Pederol on Sunday on El Chiringuito, Real Madrid will have reinforcements to compete in the Club World Cup, which kicks off on June 14 in the United States, although the first match will not be played until June 18 against Al Hilal.

The first of these will be on the bench: Xabi Alonso will take charge of the club when La Liga ends on June 25 against Real Sociedad. The following day, the Basque coach will take charge of the team to begin preparations for the Club World Cup, with the sole objective of winning his first title as Real Madrid’s new coach.

Alexander-Arnold for right back

There were doubts as to whether Alexander-Arnold would be able to play for Real Madrid in the Club World Cup. His contract with Liverpool expires on June 30, after the start of the Club World Cup. However, it seems that his current club will allow the player to join his new team once the Premier League is over, so that he can play in the tournament with the Whites.

Dean Huijsen to play with Asencio

Everything indicates that Dean Huijsen will be the chosen one to reinforce Real Madrid’s defense. The young center back, born in the Netherlands and international with the Spanish national team, could arrive for the summer tournament. It seems that negotiations with Bournemouth are going well and the 20-year-old footballer will reinforce a position that has caused so many headaches for the team this year.

The young footballer has already shown that he is capable of playing for a big club. Standing at 6’5”, he stands out for his powerful aerial play, but he is also very fast and has exquisite ball control. He is an important and necessary reinforcement with which Real Madrid is betting on the future.

Álvaro Carreras returns from Benfica

The left-back, who came up through the ranks at La Fábrica, has developed spectacularly in Portuguese football. The Portuguese team values him at €60 million, but Real Madrid could involve Manchester United in his signing, as the Red Devils have a buy-back option for €18 million and would buy him back to sell him to the Whites for less. It would be the third signing to shore up a new defense, something that, as we have mentioned, has been lacking throughout the season at Real Madrid and would represent a significant leap in quality for the squad.

The highlight of these signings is that they represent a commitment to national talent. The arrival of a Spanish coach and two players eligible for Luis de la Fuente is a move that Florentino Pérez seemed to have forgotten about. And with it, they hope to storm the Club World Cup, an important tournament with a prize of €150 million for the winner, in which Real Madrid wants to write its name as champion for the first time, as it did with the European Cup. There are changes at Real Madrid, but the goal is the same as always: to fight for every tournament in which it participates.
