Hansi Flick arrived at Barça a year ago, and his arrival has changed everything. The coach, named the best in LaLiga, landed at Montjuic with a lackluster team coming off a dismal year and has turned everything upside down. Under his leadership, the Azulgrana team has significantly improved its play, reaching the Champions League final for the first time in six years and winning three titles: the Spanish Super Cup, the Copa del Rey, and LaLiga. It has been an outstanding season in which the German has played a major role.

Hansi Flick has improved Barça

Hansi Flick has been voted LaLiga’s best coach. The title comes after leading the team to the championship with 88 points, displaying a very recognizable style of play and a scoring ability that has seen them surpass 100 goals in the domestic competition. Specifically, 102 goals, the highest number scored in the five major leagues this year.

The improvements in the team’s play have been palpable since his arrival. The German coach has been able to give confidence and a place to players who had been heavily criticized and were looking to leave. In particular, he has restored the splendor of players such as Raphinha and Frenkie De Jong, who have become undisputed starters and are performing remarkably well. In addition, he has been able to enhance and build on the talent of La Masía, restoring the Barça DNA to the team. Hansi Flick has given the team an identity and a recognizable style of play that has made its players shine and, therefore, increase their value.

Barça’s squad increases its market value

Hansi Flick’s excellent campaign has boosted the market value of many of his players, according to the specialist website Transfermarkt. In fact, this specialist website ranks Lamine Yamal as the most valuable player in LaLiga. The youth player is already FC Barcelona’s star player and one of the most valuable players in the First Division (+€20 million), making him the most valuable player. His value has skyrocketed to €200 million.

In addition to Lamine, two other LaLiga players have added €20 million in this update, including Pedri. The Canary Islander, after spending much of the season working his magic in midfield, has broken into the top ten with a valuation of €140 million.

Specifically, eight players from Hansi Flick’s squad have increased their value after a great season. Raphinha Díaz has reached a valuation of €90 million, Pau Cubarsí is now valued at €80 million, and Jules Koundé, despite his injury, has a market value of €65 million.

Another player who has surprised with his performance is Ferran Torres, who has seen his value rise to €40 million.

With smaller figures, but also on the rise, are Eric Garcia, whose transfer value is estimated at €18 million, and Gerard Martín, who stands at €12 million.
