Being a player for Real Madrid means being part of one of the most important teams in Europe, the most successful in history. And belonging to one of the best clubs, as is the case with large companies, comes with high salaries for each member of the squad.

Real Madrid’s salary expenditure

Real Madrid is one of the highest-paying clubs in Europe, able to compete with state-owned clubs and the Premier League itself, where transfer fees are very high, but not so much the salaries of each player. Being one of the best teams on the continent and always fighting for everything requires having the best possible squad, and that means spending a lot on each player’s salary. Real Madrid spends a total of €293 million gross per year on salaries, including new signings, which is just over €5 million per week. But for some players, not all, there are performance bonuses, either for collective or individual objectives such as goals. In bonuses, the club pays $76 million 260,000 (76,260,000). Therefore, the total amount that Real Madrid allocates to pay its players is $369 million 260,000 (369,260,000) per year. This does not include the bonuses for each title won by each player.

The difference between the highest and lowest earners is huge, but most of us would be happy with even the smallest amount paid into our pockets. It is worth noting that only a minority of players earn less than €10 million.

Individual salaries

In terms of individual salaries, the highest-paid player in Real Madrid’s squad is Kylian Mbappé, who pockets €31.25 million per season. He also receives an annual bonus of over €40 million per season. He is followed by David Alaba, who earns 22.5 million per season, and then Vinicius and Bellingham, who earn 20.83 million each.

At the bottom of the ladder are players such as Reinier, who has not been successful at the club and is looking for a way out, with a salary of €720,000 per year, followed by Endrick, who earns €4.16 million.

The salaries of some players are surprising, such as Asencio, who has just signed his first professional contract with the first team and will earn €6,250,000 per year.
