Confirmed: Saliba is the one and Florentino is already preparing the millions to sign him

Millions of Americans who rely on Supplemental Security Income (SSI) are in for a surprise this summer. There will be no SSI payment in June 2025, but don’t panic. The Social Security Administration (SSA) confirms that this is not a cut or cancellation of benefits, but a routine calendar adjustment. Here’s what you need to know about why there’s no SSI payment in June, what months are affected, and how to prepare.

No SSI Payment in June 2025

If you don’t see an SSI check coming in June 2025, don’t worry. You’re not losing any money. The Social Security Administration says it’s just a schedule change. Since June 1 falls on a Sunday, you’ll get that payment early, on May 30. So, you’ll still get all your benefits; they’re just arriving a little earlier than usual.

Other Months With Double SSI Payment in 2025

This isn’t the first or last time this has happened. The SSA calendar includes several months in 2025 where SSI payments are made early, causing two payments in one month and none in the next.

Here are the key months impacted:

  • February: SSI for February was paid on January 31, since February 1 was a Saturday.
  • March: SSI was paid on Feb. 28 for the same reason.
  • June: Paid early on May 30, with no check in June.
  • September: SSI will be paid on Aug. 29, due to Labor Day on Sept. 1.
  • November: SSI for November will be sent on Oct. 31, as Nov. 1 falls on a weekend.

Why Noting the Payment Schedule is Key for Millions on SSI

Approximately 7.4 million Americans receive Supplemental Security Income, many of whom rely on it to cover essential expenses like housing, food, medications, and basic bills.

When payments are bunched together like this, it can throw off budgets. Two SSI payments in May but none in June may leave some recipients struggling if they aren’t prepared. Experts say the system functions as designed, but the real-world consequences can be challenging.

How to Prepare For June

To avoid financial stress in June because you will not receive SSI payment, recipients should plan ahead by doing the following;

  1. Bookmark the SSA’s full 2025 payment schedule so you aren’t caught off guard.
  2. Budget May payments to cover two months. One payment is not a bonus but a payment for June.
  3. Get your funds faster and more securely than waiting for a mailed check.
  4. Follow SSA announcements to keep up with changes or schedule quirks.

Other 2025 SSI Payment Dates

Here are other official SSI payment dates for 2025:

  • July 1 – July SSI payment
  • August 1 – August SSI payment
  • August 29 – September SSI payment (early)
  • October 1 – October SSI payment
  • October 31 – November SSI payment (early)
  • December 1 – December SSI payment
  • December 31 – January 2026 SSI payment (early)

If you notice that there’s no SSI check coming in June 2025, don’t panic because you will receive them in May. However, you have to budget smartly and plan ahead.

Stay informed, stay prepared, and you’ll stay financially stable.
