Ederick has made his position clear regarding his present and future at Real Madrid and has no complaints despite being a secondary player. The 18-year-old attacker feels lucky to be part of the squad of one of the best clubs in the world and in a recent chat with Romario he explained his situation, how he is adapting and his desire to succeed in white.
Endrick assumes his role and makes no excuses
Since arriving at Real Madrid last summer, Endrick has played just over 500 minutes in 28 matches, only being a starter in four matches. However, the young striker understands that he is going through a process of gradual adaptation and that this is part of the club’s plan.
“I have no complaints about Real Madrid. I have changed my mentality a lot there and even if I don’t play much, whenever I do, thank God, I come on and score a goal to help my team,” he said in his conversation with Romario.
Despite having very limited playing time, Endrick has shown that he is a top-class game changer. In fact, of his six goals, four have come from the bench, which shows that he has a knack for turning games around at decisive moments.
Endrick wants to stay at Real Madrid
Speculation about a hypothetical departure in search of more playing time has been emerging, but Endrick’s inner circle has made it known that his intention is to stay at the club. Endrick himself has had few opportunities, but the Brazilian player is convinced that he can break through and prove his worth.
Endrick is not thinking about a loan move and is highly motivated to break into the team. His dream is to be able to play for Brazil in the 2026 World Cup and he is clear that he needs to put in the hours to reach the elite in Europe. His goal is to gradually make a place for himself among those who start matches at Madrid and be able to fight to be one of the best.
Endrick’s first season at Real Madrid
Endrick has played a total of 494 minutes in all competitions, being one of the outfield players who has accumulated the fewest minutes in the team; the change from the Brazilian league to one of the most complicated competitions in the world, the Spanish LaLiga, is a process that takes time. Real Madrid has devised a plan for his development, the same one implemented with Arda Güler last season. At just 18 years old, Endrick has had the opportunity to demonstrate the quality that his boots hold, as well as enormous potential, as he shows a privileged physical and technical form that projects him as a future star of world football
The Brazilian is certain that he is where he belongs and at the right time. While he continues to train with the best and make the most of every opportunity, Endrick remains firm and focused on the goal of succeeding at Real Madrid and leaving his mark on the club’s history. He knows he is young and privileged to be where he is, and although he would like to play more minutes, he knows what players are ahead of him and how much he can learn from them, a masterclass to eventually become the player everyone expects him to be.
