Endrick has failed to convince Ancelotti, despite the performance in the minutes he has had at Real Madrid, nor has he convinced Dorival Júnior, who ended up calling him up after Neymar’s injury, but did not give him any minutes against Colombia: is the Brazilian underrated?
Since arriving at Real Madrid last summer, Endrick has played just over 500 minutes in 28 matches, only being a starter in four matches. However, the young striker understands that he is going through a process of gradual adaptation and that this is part of the club’s plan.
At Real Madrid, the young Brazilian has only been able to play 4% of the minutes and has never been a starter in La Liga. With the Whites, Endrick has played a total of 27 games and has been able to score six goals; he has been able to score, although he has not scored since September in the domestic competition; but he has not been able to earn a regular place in the starting line-ups in La Liga.
Ancelotti is clear about the player’s role at Real Madrid for the time being. “They need minutes, but my goal is to field the best for each game,” the Italian coach replied last December about the Brazilian and Arda Güler.
“I’m going to stay, I want to succeed at Real Madrid whatever it takes,” said the player. Despite rumors about a possible departure in the summer, these have been ruled out by the player himself. Endrick, with total love and commitment to the team, thinks of nothing else but to keep fighting to make history as a Real Madrid player.
Real Madrid’s plan
In the Real Madrid offices, decisions are beginning to be made. One of them has to do with Endrick’s future at Real Madrid. The Whites have planned a meeting with the Brazilian player for the end of the season to define their plans. Nothing more than a simple loan in the summer would be considered in case he wants to get playing time, but it seems like a difficult option for now with the player’s plans.
